聯合國糧食及農業組織（FAO）15日在意大利羅馬宣布，中國治沙人、全國勞動模範殷玉珍入選「聯合國糧農組織農業糧食體系與農村發展百位巾幗英雄」；入選該名單的中國女性亦包括中國全國鄉村工匠名師余錦秀和湖南省岳陽縣豐瑞農機專業合作社理事長董敏芳。

表彰突出貢獻的百位女性

《新華社》16日報道，聯合國糧食及農業組織（FAO）近日發起「聯合國糧農組織農業糧食體系與農村發展百位巾幗英雄」全球表彰倡議，旨在紀念2026國際女農民年，表彰在農業、糧食體系和農村發展領域作出突出貢獻的百位女性。

該組織15日在意大利羅馬宣布結果，共有三名中國女性入選，包括中國治沙人、全國勞動模範殷玉珍、中國全國鄉村工匠名師余錦秀和湖南省岳陽縣豐瑞農機專業合作社理事長董敏芳，三人當天於現場領取獎杯。

Chinese sand-control pioneer Yin Yuzhen has been named among the FAO's 100 Women Heroes in Agrifood Systems and Rural Development, a global recognition initiative launched by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Yin has spent more than four decades combating desertification in the Maowusu Sandy Land in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. After decades of persistent tree planting, she and her family have transformed stretches of the once-barren landscape into a green expanse, overcoming harsh conditions and shifting sands. Her story also forged an enduring friendship with retired U.S. teacher Ronald Sakolsky, who raised 5,000 U.S. dollars decades ago to support her afforestation work. Besides Yin, Yu Jinxiu and Dong Minfang were also among the FAO 100 Women Heroes. Yu is a moxibustion therapist from Qichun County in central China's Hubei Province, and Dong is president of the Fengrui Agricultural Machinery Professional Cooperative in Yueyang County, central China's Hunan Province. 殷玉珍是中國內蒙古自治區毛烏素沙地，堅持治沙造林，為改善當地生態環境作出積極貢獻。1999年，美國友人賽考斯（本名羅納德·薩科爾斯基 Ronald Sakolsky）被殷玉珍的治沙事跡打動，籌集5000美元資助殷玉珍治沙造林。殷玉珍用這筆善款購買的5萬多棵樹苗，如今已長大成林。

婦女發揮著不可或缺作用

糧農組織總幹事屈冬玉在頒獎典禮上表示，婦女是農業糧食體系的重要推動力量，在保障糧食安全、管理自然資源、促進農村發展和增強社區韌性等方面發揮著不可或缺的作用。

賽考斯當天亦有出席頒獎典禮，屈冬玉邀請賽考斯上台，賽考斯與殷玉珍再次深情擁抱，共同捧起獎杯，向殷玉珍及其他99位「巾幗英雄」表達敬意。賽考斯表示，殷玉珍的壯舉深深打動了自己，他呼籲每個人都種下一棵樹，共同努力改善生態環境。
