美國聯邦調查局（FBI）前局長科米近日在社交媒體分享一幅由貝殼拼成數字「8647」的照片，稱他在海灘散步時看到的貝殼。然而數字「86」在美國俚語中代表「拒絕或除掉」某物某人，「47」則令人聯想到美國第47任總統特朗普。特勤局及國土安全部已就事件對科米展開調查。

美國前聯邦調查局（FBI）局長科米（James Comey）近日在社交媒體分享一幅由貝殼照片，照片中的貝殼拼成數字「8647」的照片，並稱他在海灘散步時看到很精彩的貝殼。

美國《韋氏字典》（Webster's Dictionary）指，數字「86」在美國俚語中有「拒絕或除掉」某物某人的意義。「86」可用於餐廳和酒吧中用來指撤銷菜單項目，而近來亦被用作表示「殺死」。「47」則令人聯想到美國第47任總統特朗普。

白宮副幕僚長布多維奇（Taylor Budowich）16日在社交媒體發文指，當特朗普總統正在中東進行國際訪問時，前FBI局長發出可明確解讀為「對現任美國總統下達追殺令」的沙灘訊息，此事令我們所有的人深感憂心，並將會嚴肅以對。美國總統特朗普長子小唐納德·特朗普（Donald Trump Jr.）亦直斥科米「隨意呼籲謀殺我的父親」。

國土安全部長克里斯蒂·諾姆（Kristi Noem）在社交媒體上表示，「這位聲名狼藉的前前FBI局長科米剛剛呼籲暗殺特朗普總統，國土安全部和特勤局正在調查這項威脅並將做出適當回應」。

現任FBI局長帕特爾（Kash Patel）在社交媒體就事件作出回應，當局注意到前局長科米在社交媒體上針對總統特朗普的帖子，正在與特勤局和柯倫（Sean Curran）局長保持溝通，有關事務的主要管轄權屬於特勤局，FBI將提供一切必要的支持。
